Billy Cox

Billy Cox is a multi-instrumentalist who teaches Percussion/Drums, Trumpet, Trombone, and Baritone. He is a graduate of Ball State University, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Education. He is an Indiana Board Certified Educator, and is currently the band director at Maple Crest Middle School and serves on the marching band staff at Kokomo, Northwestern, & Eastern High Schools.
Billy is proficient in all styles of music and is available for lessons on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Matt Gerhard

Matt Gerhard teaches Piano and Conducting. Matt has a Bachelors of Church Music from Olivet Nazarene University and a Masters in Choral Conducting from California Baptist University. Matt has studied piano and organ for over 20 years. He has extensive experience as a performer, worship leader, conductor, and educator, and currently serves as director of music at Kokomo Zion United Methodist Church here in Kokomo.
Matt is available for lessons on Tuesday on Wednesday.
Tom Johnson

Tom Johnson teaches Guitar, Bass, Mandolin, and Ukulele. He is a graduate of Ball State University, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business.
Tom is a member of several different local and regional bands, and performs upwards of 75 shows per year. Tom specializes in being a “utility” musician. His proficiency on multiple instruments allows him to train his students to see the correlation from one instrument to the next, thus creating a well rounded educational experience.
Tom is available for lessons on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Ron Jones

Ron Jones teaches Guitar and Harmonica. Ron has been a professional musician and recording artist for over 40 years. He has been a member of numerous bands and has sustained a successful career as a solo artist. Ron teaches all styles of music, specializing in Blues and Classic Rock.
Ron is available for lessons on Monday and Tuesday.
Chad Kebrdle

Chad Kebrdle teaches Guitar, Bass, and Songwriting. He has a Bachelor’s degree in English from Ball State University and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Indiana University. Along with teaching private lessons, Chad is also an adjunct English Professor at Indiana University Kokomo where he has also taught Songwriting courses for the Continuing Education Department. With nearly 30 years of experience, Chad specializes in engaging his students in not only the basics of music, but also in encouraging their creativity, and the pursuit of live performance.
Chad is available for lessons Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Paul Miller

Paul Miller teaches Guitar, Bass, and Music Technology. Paul is a graduate of Ball State University, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Technology and Digital Media Study. Paul has been a staple in the Central Indiana music scene for years. He has played in numerous bands and currently performs as JustPlainPaul.
Paul specializes in not only guitar and bass, but also in applied technological applications in music. From recording to programming, or just teaching the basics of a piece of musical gear, Paul can help any student achieve a greater understanding of their equipment.
Paul is available for lessons on Saturday.
Jeremy Phillips

Jeremy Phillips teaches Banjo, Mandolin, Guitar, Bass, and Percussion/Drums. Jeremy is a unique talent who is not only an unbelievable multi-instrumentalist, but also a wonderful teacher who continually inspires his students to reach for new heights. He specializes in Bluegrass, Country, Jazz, and Rock.
Jeremy is available for lessons on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Ryan Record

Ryan Record teaches Piano, Voice, Guitar, and Woodwinds. He is an alumnus of Ball State University and Anderson University, where he studied Music Education and Music Business.
Ryan is a teacher in high demand. He has upwards of 60 private students, is on staff with the Maconaquah High School Marching Band, as well as the Lewis High School Choir, and is a worship leader.
Ryan is available for lessons Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.
Joel Robinson

Joel Robinson has studied music at California Baptist University in Riverside, CA and received his undergraduate degree in music at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN. He has played bass guitar in several groups that have toured across the US and into Canada ranging from choral and orchestral to jazz and rock. He currently leads worship for the Connect service at Kokomo First Church of the Nazarene and teaches bass and guitar at the Sound of Music.
Joel is available for lessons on Saturday.
