Rockstar Training Academy
2012 Summer Camp

Sound of Music's Rock Star Training Academy Summer Camp is the perfect platform for students of any age and skill level looking to further their musical abilities and ambitions. The week long camp will feature both classroom and individual instruction taught by our staff of not only professional musicians, but professional educators. A unique feature of this camp is that each student will also be placed in a “Live Performance” band that they will rehearse with throughout the week, with a final performance for friends and family on the last day of camp. The show will include a professional sound system, gear, and lights, all designed to ensure a real rockstar experience.

At Sound of Music's Rock Star Training Academy students will take part in a well rounded musical curriculum that will include the following courses:

- Songwriting -

- Vocal Techniques -

The camp is open to students (ages 8 and up) who play guitar (acoustic or electric), bass, piano/keyboards, drums/percussion, or sing. However, if students do play instruments other than the ones previously mentioned, there will be opportunities for them to incorporate these instruments into the bands in which they are placed.

Dates: July 16th thru the 20th

TUITION: $230
